Wynne Williams co-founded Viget Labs with his sons Brian and Andy in 1999. Pop, as he was known at home and around the Lab, was a true technical innovator who began sharing his love of computers and software development with his friends and family in the early 80’s. Long before Viget was formally incorporated, Pop named the company by selecting the word “Viget” from his class ring. Pop was a 1969 graduate of Princeton University and served in the U.S. Navy before enjoying a long career as a pilot for United Airlines. Though he passed away suddenly on May 4, 2003, the memory of Pop’s dry wit, love of problem solving, and intense dedication to Viget’s long-term success remain an inspiration to this day.
