Let’s Talk About:

What is personalization and what makes sense for you?

Melissa Foley

By Melissa Foley, Senior User Experience Designer

More and more, we see clients say they need more personalization. However, many clients don’t know what that means or what they can reasonably implement.

Maybe you’ve seen the research and know the statistics about personalization. You’re excited about the possibility of a better customer experience and improved analytics too. You think you’re ready to personalize your website. But, like many of our clients, you don’t know how to get started.

I want to help you better understand what personalization means and what might be the right fit for you and your business’s unique needs. Along the way, you’ll learn about authenticated and unauthenticated users, cookies, different ways you can implement personalization, and the levels of effort required to plan, integrate, develop, and manage each.

Ultimately, you should be better able to talk about personalization, have a broader understanding of what you want, and feel more empowered to get that conversation started.
