Welcoming Brave UX
What started as a friendly connection grew into an extended partnership. Today, Brave UX joins Viget as our product design team and capabilities continue to grow.
Throughout our 22 years of business, we’ve viewed industry peers not as competitors, but as collaborators, partners, and even friends. There’s always been more digital work to do than qualified people to do it and, since rising tides lift all boats, we’ve always tried to share our knowledge and hard-earned lessons in the hopes that, collectively, we could make the digital world better for everyone.
Brave UX is a DC-area design agency we’ve long admired. Their work is as beautiful as it is functional. With a tight focus on software interfaces, their specialized team has worked on digital products for some of the world’s leading brands like Fanatics, Marriott, and Royal Caribbean since their founding in 2014. They’re a shop we look to for inspiration.
What began a few years ago as a friendly “shop talk” – a casual meeting with our teams to share unvarnished project stories and discuss trends and best practices – evolved into a full-fledged partnership. In recent months, the Brave team has embedded within Viget engagements, collaborating across teams and clients, with great results. Today, the Brave team has officially joined Viget to expand our product design capabilities as our product services continue to grow.
Jenna Billingsley, Brave’s long-time Design Director, will continue to lead the Brave design team as Viget’s new Product Design Director. In this role, she’ll manage Viget’s growing team of product designers, direct design work with key clients, and work closely with Viget’s product strategy, management, and development directors to evolve our product design services. She’s a proven leader who will be an influential part of our management team.
Brave’s founder and CEO, Lee Finkel, has worked tirelessly to build a world-class design agency. With his team successfully settled into the Viget environment where they can continue to flourish, he’ll be taking a well deserved break.
One of Viget’s core values has always been to “be brave” – to be “curious, creative, ambitious, and willing to tackle big challenges.” Welcoming the Brave UX team will allow us to tackle even more ambitious and challenging client engagements for years to come.
