Viget Continues Support for Medical Care for Children Partnership

FALLS CHURCH, VA – Viget Labs – a full-service web consulting firm based in Falls Church, VA – is pleased to help the Medical Care for Children Partnership (MCCP) re-launch its newly-designed web site today as a precursor to its annual spring gala next April.

MCCP, which has been working with Viget through the Lab's pro bono community project program to find integrated solutions to its online needs since 2004, "is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical and dental care to the children of Fairfax County's 'working poor' – those who are ineligible for Medicaid yet cannot afford private health insurance."

Kara Davis, the Project Manager who has been instrumental in bringing MCCP's new look online, oversaw the implementation of Expression Engine, an open-source content management system that will allow MCCP to easily update its content.

With help from Designer Erik Olson, MCCP's new web site and accompanying email template offer visitors a refreshed look for the organization to match the marketing materials generated in support of the 2008 spring gala.

Additionally, Email Marketing Specialist Emily Bloom has been working to establish an email marketing campaign – which kicked off on Dec. 6 – that aims to encourage more community involvement in both the "Walk of Fame" gala and the organization itself.
