Cool Tools for Web and Mobile Project Management: October Ascend DC Meetup

Basecamp, Google Apps, Harvest, Redmine, Pivotal Tracker - there are some great tools out there, but also a glut of tools. Which work? Which don't? We aim to find out! Join seasoned PMs in an interactive discussion about the good, the bad, and the ugly tools for managing projects. Save time learning from those in the trenches before you dive into mastering a new tool.

Our Ascend DC October meeting for project managers (10/9) will focus on tools for Web and Mobile Project Management. This informal group is open to those who work in project management or serve in a comparable position at a creative/interactive agency. If this describes you and you live nearby, please join us.

October's Meeting Details:

This month, we'll meet at Forum One Communications in Alexandria, VA. Light snacks will be served. Many thanks to Forum One Communications for providing the meeting space this month!

Meetup Goals:

Inspired by Ascend Boulder, the monthly PM meeting Jason has been pioneering out in Boulder, I wanted to organize a meetup for project managers / web producers in the DC Metro area. The idea is to get a small group of PMs from different companies together to swap ideas and learn from each other.  We've had a few good meetings so far and our group is steadily growing.
