Odeo
When Odeo first launched in 2005, initially a podcast aggregation service, it quickly grew to support hundreds of thousands of users. When a new investment team purchased the site in 2007, they needed a team that could rework the user experience, redesign the interface, and rebuild the Ruby on Rails code base. The new site, launched out of beta in July of 2008, now includes video content, a custom search tool, and improvements to both the interface and technology infrastructure.
What We Did:
Strategy Workshop to help define user goals and areas of potential improvement
Design overhaul including both the UX and UI
Custom Development in Ruby on Rails to replace Odeo's original code and be more scalable and extensible
