Join Refresh Boulder for our next event — The Maker Movement: Why It's Cool & How To Get Started — on Thursday, June 25th at 6:00 PM.  Our presenters, Shawn Hymel and Alejandro Sangiovanni, will share their perspectives on the maker movement, as well as some advice on how you can get started with your own hardware and electronics projects.

Shawn Hymel is a Creative Engineer at Sparkfun Electronics.  Sparkfun was born and raised in Boulder and is one of the most popular online destinations for makers to learn about and purchase DIY electronics.

Alejandro Sangiovanni is in Business Development at Aleph Objects.  Aleph Objects is the maker of the popular LulzBot line of 3D printers.

The evening kicks off at 6:00 PM with pizza, beer, and some good old-fashioned mingling followed by presentations and conversation.
